Aerospace - Student Assistant Software Development (m/f/d)

To strengthen our space team in various R&D projects we are looking for

Student assistant (m/f/d)

for various areas of activity. In particular, we focus on the realization and further development of our small satellite technology (CubeSats).

Activities

• Embedded software development for various microcontrollers e.g. on CubeSat subsystems
• Software development in Java with GUI for Mission Control software
• Software development in Java for various simulation frameworks
• Other fields of activity according to interest and need

prerequisites

• Good programming knowledge in C for embedded systems or
• Good programming skills in Java for desktop systems including GUI
• Ability to work in a team and act independently, willingness to learn
• Interest in long-term employment (at least 1 year)

The positions are set at 30-50 h/month and are remunerated at the standard salary rate of the University of Würzburg. A longer-term employment is aimed at. The work is to be carried out at the Zentrum für Telematik e.V., Magdalene-Schoch-Str. 5, 97074 Würzburg (at Hubland Campus North, 2 min. walk from the Mensateria).
